Statement of Faith

  1. We believe in the Scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the Scripture to govern the affairs of men. (2 Tim 3:16)
  2. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (Matt 3:17) He came from the Father to earth, was born of a virgin, died on the cross, rose again, ascended back to Heaven, and one day will return to this earth. Faith in His death and resurrection brings forgiveness of sins and new live in Christ. (John 3:16)
  3. We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and gifts of the Spirit. (Gal 5:22-23, 1 Cor 12:7-11)
  4. We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water, (Acts 2:38, Matt 28:19), washing away the old man and coming up with the new. (John 3:5)
  5. We believe in God’s total healing power manifested through the prayer of faith for the body, mind and spirit. (James 5:14-15)
  6. We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his needs. (Phil 4:19)

How We Worship

The Bible tells us in John 4:23-24, “The Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and truth”, “spirit” means more than just a traditional form. Rather it involves our whole heart. Matt 22:37 says “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and all your soul”. Truth means that our worship should be according to Scripture.
Praise with our Mouth: Singing (Psalm 47:6, Col 3:16); Shouting (Psalm 47:1)
Praise with our Body: Standing (Psalm 135:1-2); Bowing & Kneeling (Psalm 95:6); Dancing (Psalm 149:3, 150:4); Clapping (Psalm 47:1); Lifting of Hands (Psalm 134:2, 1 Tim 2:8)
Praise with Musical Instruments: (Psalm 150)
Praise By Giving: In Scripture, giving was always an integral act of worship. We believe offerings should be given not taken. Offering buckets are not passed but placed by each of the auditorium doors to give you and opportunity to worship by giving. (Mal 3:8-12, 2 Cor 9:6-8)
Tithes (1/10 of your income); Offerings (over and above the tithe)
